AAA  Salt Lake City Bees swarmed the Sacramento River Cats 9-5:

Ryder Jones 1B- 3 for 3, HR(1), BB.  BA= .391.
Jae-Gyun Hwang LF- 2 for 3, BB.  BA= .286.
Ricky Romero LHP- 4.2 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 4 BB, 6 K's.  ERA= 4.85.

Jones started the season a couple of weeks late, but is off to a great AAA start.  Hwang is showing why he needed some adjustment to American baseball.  Hopefully he starts to get some traction.

AA  Reading Fightin' Phils downed the Richmond Flying Squirrels 6-2:

Slade Heathcott CF- 1 for 3, HR(2), BB.  BA= .327.
Sam Coonrod RHP- 2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 3 K's.  ERA= 3.21.
Carlos Alvarado RHP- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 1.29.

Coonrod's start was cut short by a rain delay.  Is there hope for Heathcott?  He's a tremendous athlete but was never able to put it all together in the Yankees organization.

Daniel Carbonell RF- 1 for 3, 2B, BB.  BA= .278.
Conner Menez LHP- 5 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 1 K.  ERA= 2.70.
Conner Kaden RHP- 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K.  ERA= 0.00.
Ryan Halstead RHP- 2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's, Save(2).  ERA= 0.96.

Low A  Greensboro Grasshoppers devoured the Augusta Greenjackets 7-2:

Sandro Fabian RF- 1 for 2, 2B, SF.  BA= .236.
Kelvin Beltre 2B- 2 for 4, 2B.  BA= .300.
Brandon Van Horn SS- 2 for 4, 2B.  BA= .188.
Kevin Rivera 3B- 2 for 4, 2B.  BA= .270.
Melvin Adon RHP- 4.2 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 7 K's.  ERA= 3.09.

This could be a breakout season for Beltre if he can just stay healthy.  He reaches the .300 BA mark.  I don't know about you, but I still think a .300 BA means something.
