Aoki seems to need a little more rehab.  Giants seem to be grooming Kelby Tomlinson for the role they envisioned for Matt Duffy this year.  Osich not sulking after being sent down to make room for Affeldt.

AA  Richmond Flying Squirrels downed the Erie Seawolves 4-1:

Hunter Cole(RF)- 2 for 4, 2B, SB(1).  BA= .311.

Kyle Crick(RHP)- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K's.  ERA= 3.04.

A dominant start for Mejia.  Not quite a clean inning for Cricky, but any appearance from him with no walks is a plus.

  1. Arroyo continues to rake in San Jose. Any chance of a promotion to Richmond before the end of the year?

  2. There was an article that said something about Agosta having an issue with his leg. Not sure what became of it. Wonder if Crick will be still be with the Giants this time next week. He seems like a guy that other teams might want and the Giants might be willing to trade due to Beede and others emerging.

As a side note, rumor is the Mets might be dangling Wheeler for some offense.

  3. Agosta left the field without putting any pressure on one leg, and may have injured a knee. Didn't see any updates on the SJ Giants website, so maybe not serious.
