  1. Blackburn looks imposing on the hill. And he must be feeling fresh compared to other pitchers that have logged 30-40 more innings.

Can the G's use this guy in September?

    1. I don't see Blackburn as a September callup, but with the innings deficit, he would make a nice AFL candidate. BTW, lots of very interesting possibilities for the AFL for the Giants this year. It looks like Duffy will have few enough AB's to be eligible. Not sure about Susac. I think Susac has already gone. Blake Miller looks like a possibility. Elliott Blair? On the pitching side, Blackburn Crick and Blach seem like obvious candidates. Maybe Strickland and/or Okert from the bullpen? They can send one from lower than AA. What about Horan or Ragira? Maybe too early for Chuckie Jones?

    2. Blach has lots of innings under his belt - Blach belt?

  2. And though not as thin, Miller is doing a nice Duffy impression in AA.

  3. Wow to Dustin Knight recording 8 of his 10 outs via the strikeout! Who is that kid?

    1. Low round draftee from 2013. Doesn't have a lot of size and this was by far is best strikeout game. Probably just a blip but an impressive one.
