Thomas Neal is the Real Deal! Mathis has a 44/17 K/BB in 52.2 IP with a GO/AO= 2.09. Could be an emergency starter.

What was Rosin's best start, by far, was cut short by a rain delay. Good to see those K's!

  3. Bacci,

The Giants are working on their grace and charm in order to appear that they meant to make that $60 million mistake.

    Doc,

I'm sure you covered it previously, but any hope that Neal can become a 25 HR guy...playing in, you know, AT&T?

  4. It's a bit easier for RH batters to hit HR's in AT&T. Yes, I think Neal can be a 25 HR guy there. I see him as being a well rounded hitter who is going to hit for average, draw some walks and hit a lot of doubles too. 25 HR's might be his absolute max, but it would be part of a very nice offensive package. .300/.350/.500 with 35 doubles and 25 HR's?
