AAA Fresno Grizzlies outslugged the Reno Aces 12-5:

Ryan Rohlinger(SS)- 2 for 6, HR(4). BA= .203.
Conor Gillaspie(3B)- 2 for 3, 2 BB. BA= .258.
Brandon Belt(LF)- 2 for 4, 2B, BB. BA= .429.
Travis Ishikawaz(RF)- 2 for 5, 2B, HR(1). BA= .236.
Thomas NealCF)- 3 for 5, 2B. BA= .342.
Edgar Gonzalez(2B)- 3 for 5, SB(1). BA= .310.
Steve Edlefsen- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 K's. ERA= 1.23.

Interesting positioning going on in Fresno. Sabes and Bochy love that flexibility!

Richmond, San Jose and Augusta were all idle on Easter Sunday.

  2. The Fresno roster shows only two outfielders and no shortstops. Versatility? Maybe Belt could toss a few innings? If things don't change, they may have MadBum down there to do some DHing... lol...

  3. Hey, when you score 12 runs, you could probably get away with committing 4 or 5 errors and you'd be fine!

    Doc, what kind of trade value do you think TK and/or Pill have? Also, what kind of package would you think it would take to acquire a guy like J.J. Hardy? I know it's a bit early to start talking like that, but to my surprise I think Tejada is going to swing himself out of SS, not field his way out...

  4. unfortunately I don't think Travis Ishikawa or Brett Pill have any trade value. Almost every team has first base prospects stacked even deeper than the Giants.
