Wellemeyer had much better results here than in his first rehab appearance with the AZL Giants. You can still see the tendency to walk too many batters here though. Nice extended run by Henry Sosa.

Gotta love what Jonesy is doing! Raffy hits his first professional HR!

DSL Giants edged the Cubs 5-4:

  1. Do you expect Main to stay in Richmond all season, or is there a shot they send him to SJ so they can start him from scratch?

Nice to see Rodriguez get a monkey off his back. How old is he? 17 or 18?

Jones is looking better this year than Dominguez did last year. And Jones is a HS player. He is looking like a GREAT find.

  2. Chuckie Jones looking good. Carlos Willoughby stole another base. Henry Sosa with 4 quality innings. And the Giants beat the Dodgers! All is right with the world...

  3. RafRod just turned 18 on July 13. Don't know about Main. He was pitching well for Bakersfield before the trade. Usually the jump to AA isn't so bad for pitchers because the EL is so pitching friendly.
