The Giants suffered their first real bullpen meltdown losing to Cincinnati 10-3 as Cincy scored 7 runs in their last inning at bat against Jeremy Affeldt and Brandon Medders. Key lines:
Aaron Rowand- 1 for 3. BA= .452.
Edgar Renteria- 1 for 4, HR(2). Rent now has a ST line of .275/.302/.375, better than last year's OPS of .635, but still way off his career OPS of .746. Anything approaching his career line would be a big plus this year.
Jonathan Sanchez- 6.1 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 2 K's. Nice effort from Sanchez to rebound from his last very poor outing. Errors by Uribe and DeRosa did not help.
Drew Biery, Brandon Belt and Brock Bond each got a cameo AB with Belt delivering a hit. I hope this was a reward for good play in the minor league camp?
Drew Stubbs hit his 4'th ST HR in the 7 run 8'th for Cincinnati. I have Stubbs as a likely 20/20 man for fantasy baseball. He may hurt on BA though. He's hitting .297 on the spring.
Homer Bailey was the starter for Cincy: 5 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 0 K's. I have Bailey as a sleeper pick for a fantasy SP.
